Removing Artists Based on Scores 📈
To begin, click Remove Artists under Step 2: Remove Artists and Advance Rounds. You will see a table showing:
Each medium category
The average score per category (used as the default removal threshold)
How many artists will be removed or remain in each category
⚡ TIP: This step does not immediately move artists. You'll have a chance to review changes first.
Adjusting Removal Thresholds 🛠️
Want to change the default score threshold? Follow these steps:
Select the category you want to change by checking its box.
Update the threshold score in the Remove Threshold field. Remember, artists with scores under this threshold will be slated for removal.
Click Update Thresholds to see how many artists fall above or below your new threshold.
Preview and Finalize Removals 👀
Once your thresholds are set and you've made changes, it's time to preview your list of artists to be removed.
Select all categories (or you can do it one at a time) by checking the box next to Discipline Name.
Click Preview.
On the next page, you'll see a list of applicants who scored below your thresholds.
Use the drop-down menus to keep artists in the jury pool (change status to Received), move them to the waitlist (change status to Waitlist), or upgrade them to Invited (change status to Invited).
When you're ready, click Remove Artists. This acts as a save button and applies all status changes.
Multiple Rounds 🔢
If you’re conducting more than one round:
After removing artists from Round 1, go to the Current Round drop-down.
Change to the next round and click Save.
Jurors can now log back in and score the remaining applicants.
Repeat this process for each round until all low-scoring applicants are removed.
Inviting Artists ✉️
Once all jury rounds are complete, go to Step 3: Finalize Jury Selection.
Click Invite Artists.
Select all categories by checking the box next to Discipline Name.
Leave the invite threshold at 0.00 (since low scorers were already removed).
Click Preview.
Review the list of artists and adjust statuses as needed.
Click Invite Artists to move them into the Invited status.
Reminders 🔔
Your Current Jury Status must be set to Complete and Hide Current Artist Status must be set to No for artists to see their results and statuses.
Artists are not notified automatically by email. Use the Communication tool to email them results.
Artists will not see jury scores and comments unless you choose to share them. To share jury scores with artists, you can merge them into an email using our communication tool.
